Who we are
WP AI Factory develops free WordPress plugins and publishes documentation and articles about them on this website. We are the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us at any time through our support page.
What we collect and why
Support requests
When you send a request through the support form, we receive the details you type into it: your email address, the subject and text of your message, the plugin and topic you selected, and optionally the address of your website. You may also attach screenshots and log files.
We use this data for one purpose only: to understand your problem and reply to you. Your request is stored on this website as a support ticket, attachments are saved in the site’s upload folder, and a copy is emailed to our support inbox. We do not use these details for marketing and we never sell them.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting produces technical logs that may contain your IP address, browser user agent, requested address and the time of the request. These logs help us keep the site available and investigate errors and abuse. They are kept for a short period and are not combined with any other data about you.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Necessary cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choice. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you allow them — and at the moment none are set at all. Services we rely on
- Google reCAPTCHA — protects the support form from automated spam. It runs only on the support page and Google may set its own cookie and process your IP address under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — the typeface used on several pages is loaded from Google’s servers, which means your IP address becomes visible to Google when the font is requested.
- Hosting and email delivery — our hosting provider stores the site and its database, and an SMTP service delivers the email copy of your support request. Both act as processors on our instructions.
How long we keep your data
Support tickets and their attachments are kept for as long as they are useful for support history, and no longer than 24 months after the conversation ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept for a short technical period. The cookie consent record lives in your browser for 12 months.
Who can see your data
Your data is accessible to the people who run WP AI Factory and to the service providers listed above, strictly to the extent needed to deliver their service. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertising networks, and we do not use it to build profiles.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us through the support page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is aimed at website owners and developers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes to how cookies are used also reset the cookie banner, so you can review your choice.
